One of the perennial arguments couples will have and compromise over is what to watch on TV. For us it used to be Will & Grace (argh!), then Two and a Half Men (getting better!) but thankfully we got into watching Malcolm in the Middle and have been glued to it ever since. The show is now over, finishing with Malcolm.. well, I won’t spoil it for you if you haven’t seen it, but it finishes in typical Wilkerson style.
If you’re like to know more, and even find out things you didn’t know you wanted to know, then take a look at the Wikipedia Malcolm in the Middle page. It’s chock full of useful and useless gossip and facts about the characters and places and episodes and secrets and makes for an entertaining read.
Frankie Muniz who played Malcolm in the series has had a very interesting life. He’s a professional race car driver now, and is engaged to marry.
Does anyone watch Over There? It’s finished up in the US and Canada, but Sky are currently showing it and I’m hooked.
Unfortunately only 13 episodes were made before “declining ratings” prompted FX to cancel the project.
Check the above link for an episode guide and more.
I just watched the first episode of the new series of Lost. Wow, very gripping, creepy and chilling. That scene with the young boy and whispers in the dark made my skin crawl!
Yes, I’m a week late, I had it recorded on the ol’ Sky+ and watched it tonight. The next episode is on in 5 minutes, but despite my curiousity about who Desmond is I’ll watch it in a few days time! Much later…Lost Rhapsody is Bohemian Rhapsody by Wierd Al and the cast of Lost! (via)
Dana Elcar, MacGyver’s boss in the hit series died on Monday at the age of 77. I can only presume there are very few people from 25 and up who never saw MacGyver. It was certainly a favourite of my brothers and I! What that guy could do with a pen knife and duct tape.
Dana Elcar was the balding boss, Pete, who sent MacGyver on his missions. Remember he went blind towards the end of the series? That’s because in real life he suffered from glaucoma, and he lost his sight.
Thanks for all the good times Dana!
Did anyone else see Top Gear today? The things they did to that Toyota pick-up, and it even survived sitting on top of a 240ft building that was being demolished! 😀
I’d love to go for a drive in the Aussie car they tested. Any offers?
Frank Twomey used to present childrens tv program, Bosco. He doesn’t seem to mention Bosco anywhere though. I wonder why? *grin*
PS. http://www.staffordm.com/full-resumes/twomeyf.html leads to a parked domain now unfortunately.
