I had never heard of sshfs, but here’s a quick tutorial on getting it working. Looks very useful!
Photoblogger/Flickr Meetup at Clarion Hotel Tomorrow!
If you have a camera, run a photoblog or you’re in town, there will be a meet up tomorrow in Cork!
Everyone will gather in front of the Clarion Hotel at 2pm tomorrow where we’ll plan our photographic assault on the city!
It’s also the Jazz Weekend here in Cork so there’ll be plenty of interesting subjects to shoot!
For more info, and a map, look at this Upcoming.org page, or Ryan’s Blog!
See you there!

If you’ve never used Awk before, here’s a small introduction to it with a worked example.
Just waiting for the sed script that does the same now 🙂

WordPress Flickr DHTML Badge Plugin
I Like the look of those Flickr badges running on a lot of sites. I don’t like that it uses Flash though so imagine my delight when I came across the WordPress Flickr DHTML Badge Plugin. It’s easy to install and configure, and only needs one line added to your sidebar.php to activate!
I’m already running it on In Photos and it’s great!
And in case that’s not enough, here’s some more Flickr goodness!
Bring Back Bosco!
If you’re not Irish you probably don’t know about Bosco, but if you grew up in the 80’s he’ll be instantly familiar. The Bosco Files has been around for a while but now, here’s a petition to bring back Bosco!
Maybe now they can answer why bosco has red cheeks, and will Frank be back to do a comedy intro?
Later.. The Bosco DVD is out! As is the Wanderly Wagon one! Here’s a picture of them in HMV, Cork a week ago. Did I buy? Err, no.
blo.gs – something wrong?
I use blo.gs to generate the list of links over there on the rights of my site.
It’s useful because it lists the links in order of last update.
It’s not useful in that in the last 2 or 3 weeks spam links creep into the list without my intervention. Has this happened to anyone else?
Must get in touch with them to report it.
Buying Furniture?
So, have you had the joyful experience of buying furniture? Then you have the grinding and frustrating wait for it to be delivered? Youu and me both! Looks like Dilbert has had the same experience.
