Yup, FRLinux Static-X are good! I want more!! More! More!
Old Man
The Bees! The Bees!
If you go into the woods today, you never know what you might find! You might even get stung by these little creatures.
I lay on the ground about 2 inches from the flower as I took this and when he fell from the flower I made sure to get up quickly!
Mouseover DOM Inspector
Oooh.. this is a nice bookmarklet! It displays information about the components of a web page by simply moving the mouse over them. This is another to add to my “Web” folder.
Race Against Waste!
Despite having a slightly dodgy tv advert, the Race Against Waste website is actually rather useful and informative! There’s info on everything from recycling to composting and reusing material, and the first FAQ is “Where can I get a compost bin?”
Ah yes, once upon a time I actually blogged about computers, technology, politics and photography.. (keep tuned, myself and a friend took some great photos at the weekend, they’ll be posted tomorrow!)
Do I need a phoneline for Sky Digital?
Do I need a phone to use Sky? I don’t know for sure, but if pressed for an answer I’d give an equivocal “maybe!” There’s plenty of conflicting evidence around and plenty more on Google of course.
Keeping photos of exes?
This is the first time I’ve come across this subject online, and this thread has some excellent replies.
Wish dpreview had a flat-mode. I hate loading lots of pages to read a thread. It’s a pain on dialup and for archiving!
Sky Digital Packages and Pricing
After getting Sky Digital installed yesterday I need to choose a suitable package of channels. I took advantage of the €1 installation which meant I had to go for an expensive package of channels this month. As I don’t have enough interest in soccer to justify the sports channels I want a cheaper package next month!
Slashdotting Stats
Having this server linked directly off Slashdot didn’t hurt us very much this time! The fact the linked page was a static html page helped enormously, but the machine is fairly beefy and the traffic generated not as great as in the past. *phew*
Photo.net – Photo Of The Week
This is an amazing action shot of a horse race! Wow!As the author says, “A wide angle put to good use in difficult conditions.” I can only imagine!
