I’m downloading Half Life 2 through Steam on my Macbook now. I don’t expect it to run any better than Portal did however. Glad I have the Orange Box on my Xbox if I want a decent game of either! (Thanks giantbomb!)

Gaming TODO list:

Finish Bad Company 1. I’m almost near the end, but I kept dying in the village where you have to destroy the two bridges.
Play Portal as the sequal has been announced. I have the Orange Box, and despite being a huge Half Life fan back in the day I played about an hour of HL2 before getting bored of it. I never even go to Portal.

Hannibal House
The story of a Seattle man who visits Wales, and decides to buy a house there. Great characters, and and a good read!

Protector
An odd and weird science fiction story by Larry Niven. Did not see that ending coming!

Batman: Knightfall
One of my favourite Batman stories, and the story the last Nolan film took inspiration from. Only bettered by the superb Batman: Son of the Demon.

The Golden Compass
First of a three part fantasy/sci-fi series. Some people hate it because of it's anti God message but it's a great read. I found it hard to put down. There's even a Snopes article about the film adaptation.
