My first game on the new maps in Map Pack 7 was Heavy Metal. I didn’t do much but drive tanks, jeeps and man the gun on a heli but it was fun and we won in the end. This is one huge map!

Map Pack 7 for Bad Company 2 came out today and while there are a few niggling problems with servers, I had a few games on the new maps. I’m currently uploading a game from Heavy Metal but it’ll take another hour.
I played a couple of games of conquest after my game of Heavy Metal and in each I joined teams being trounced. So much for the skill matching!
I joined a game on Cold War rush and there was only myself and another attacker. We tore through the map in double quick time. Duck and I tried to join another game but got booted into rush on Nelson Bay where again we were the only attackers with no defenders. “You take A, I’ll take B”. Oh well, free points I guess! 🙂

Map Pack 7 for Bad Company 2 is out tomorrow! December 1st is already a special day for me, but this is a nice birthday present! 🙂
Bad Company 2 Vietnam on December 18th?
This page on the Steam network suggests the Vietnam expansion for Bad Company 2 will be out on December 18th, at least on PC.
Hopefully Map Pack 7 will be out before then! Thanks Mike for the heads up!
Update! MP7 is out tomorrow and Vietnam is out on the 21st and 22nd according to this post! Wooo!

Post Patch Defense of Atacama Desert
This is a game I played with David last night. I groaned when I saw we were playing on Arica Harbor Atacama Desert as I don’t really like this map and we did lose in the end. The game went on for 25 minutes too, it had it’s good moments and overall I enjoyed it.
David’s uploading a video from his gameplay last night but he already posted this teaser. Nice smoke grenade kill!

ACE Pin? What? How the hell did I do that? My aim in Bad Company 2 is completely ruined by playing Black Ops.
I did really badly in a game of SDM by myself but then David came online and we joined a game of rush, on Atacama Desert unfortunately. We were beaten easily and my aim was so bad I just switched to medic and used the SAW to spray and pray.
Bad Company 2 is so much more interesting than any Call of Duty game. Where else can you see vehicles sail through the air after hitting land mines?
