The People’s Republic of Cork have a couple of new articles online.. I read the feminist one in the Echo this evening and as I was nodding my head I thought it’d be good to bring to the attention of my dear readers here..

• Corkonian’s Guide to Abroad – covers such exotic locations beyond the borders of the Republic such as Ireland, London and America!
• Inside the Mind of a Cork Woman.. is not a pretty sight, but that’s not fair, I’m sure it applies equally to the rest of yer wans around the place!
• Gettin’ Flahed: Adventures in Speed Dating.. this one had me laughing out loud within shouting distance of the start! hehe.

So there you go, the combined intelligence and social engineering skills of the average Corkonian is imbued in the above writing. Read ’em and weep, err laugh, guys!

So, TodayFM have a competition to name as many “things” as possible in 15 seconds. Most people don’t get more than 10, some are lucky with 12 or 14.
What happens when you ask an Irish woman to name as many alcoholic drinks as possible in 15 seconds? She gets 30..

It looks like Microsoft went after Linux kernel downloaders. Unintentionally perhaps, but there was a lot of users looking for the Windows source code, so perhaps Microsoft were desperate. Like the original author, I also wonder why nobody figured out how to break open a partially downloaded tar.bz2 file within 3 to 4 days..

Stealth mode: using specially malformed headers, Firefox will load your web pages and web servers will be unable to log your vists.

My own favourite extension is the Digger extension. This allows you to dig down through a URL easily!

Take for example Apple Computers, makers of the popular Macintosh line of computers. The real operating system hiding under the newest version of the Macintosh operating system (MacOS X) is called… Darwin! That’s right, new Macs are based on Darwinism! While they currently don’t advertise this fact to consumers, it is well known among the computer elite, who are mostly Atheists and Pagans. Furthermore, the Darwin OS is released under an “Open Source” license, which is just another name for Communism. They try to hide all of this under a facade of shiny, “lickable” buttons, but the truth has finally come out: Apple Computers promote Godless Darwinism and Communism.
