In new orleans, on the mississippi river.
a block down river from my shotgun house, there is an old rice mill.
Through a hole, in the rear of the mill, there is a a larg honeybee hive where you can see honeycombs.
for a few days, a queen honeybee and a few thousand servants were hanging out on the side off the same old brick building waiting for a new place to call home.
Lots of bussing bees.
my neighbour david (who used to work with insects for the united states customs service) wanted to bring the bees home with him and have is own honey bee hive.
