Why can’t this be a default? Middle mouse clicking a url to open a url in the copy buffer is one of those “must-have” features of Mozilla that I always miss when I use IE. Why isn’t it turned on by default?

Set middlemouse.contentLoadURL to true in about:config.

AJAX in IE without ActiveX
Kae discovered that AJAX functions in IE depend on ActiveX being enabled. This is terrible – something that’s useful (AJAX) depends on something awful(ActiveX)!
Anyway, Kae found a way around this limitation. It’s not complete but it’s a stab in the right direction.
