Cross processing is the method by which camera film is developed as if they were slides, or visa versa. Here’s how to do Cross-Processing in Photoshop and create some interesting photos.
Must try it myself.

Fun With HTTP Headers
It’s funny what people put in their HTTP headers these days!

The Ninja Game
This game is making the rounds on delicious right now. In this Flash game you play a ninja who must dodge various nasties and collect the gold.
It didn’t run too well on my machine, probably because I had too many FF tabs open but the demos are fun to watch although quite disturbing to see a small matchstick figure blown to bits or fall to earth with a big crunch!
The Skype Honeypot
The Register reports that a Skype user has software that masquerades as a female ready to chat. What it in fact does is puts whoever calls in contact with each other. Each guy thinks the other is a hot female looking for some cybersex!
The Skype Whores site has transcripts of typical conversations and the Reg article above has one particularly funny one to read!
Ah yes, isn’t the Internet great?
Bubble Bomb–pop a plastic bag with baking soda and vinegar!
Ray and co. on Today FM are about to make a bubble bomb from baking soda and vinegar live on the radio!
Hehe. This should be fun!
The Price of Petrol/Gas
Having stumled across this post about the price of petrol I decided to find out how I’m paying per US Gallon.
I used Google to convert from gallon to litre which told me:
1 US gallon = 3.7854118 litre
The last time I bought petrol it was priced at 1.09 Euro/lt. Do the maths and you have expensive petrol, no matter how you look at it.
Eddie Hobbs & Rip Off Republic
Eddie Hobbs’ last episode of Rip Off Republic aired tonight and while it wasn’t as focued as earlier ones on consumer rip offs, it covered ground that we should all be familiar with: taxes. Eddie revealed that the average tax payer over-pays his tax by 700 Euro a year! Many people may not know that they can claim tax relief on their waste disposal charges. Did you? Here’s a page courtesy of Fine Gael giving summaries on medical, dental, rent and refuse expenses and tax relief. Damien has a few more links, including links to further discussion about Mr. Hobbs.

'Why Rip Off Republic can help us solve our problems'
The SBP has an article from Eddie Hobbs explaining why his program is a success. It’s getting people talking, and hopefully consumers won’t be as ripped-off in the future as we are now.
I say “hopefully” but I doubt anything will change in the short term. There are far too many vested interests and lobby groups.
