Apparently Call of Duty Black Ops came out in Spain and Germany already, has it? That’s how this guy got to play against the (terrible) bots in “Nuketown”. This is the second Black Ops video I’ve seen on this level and the graphics in both really bug me, I prefer the gritty and “real” textures of well practically every other shooter.
I hope this was on easy setting, but the same setting in Bad Company 2 onslaught is far harder. Apples and oranges comparison perhaps but they’re all bots.
Comments on that video suggest that quick scoping has been patched already so it’s harder, good I guess. (via)
Wow, looks like a typically horrible Treyarch game attempting to feign itself as an IW entry in a franchise in which it has no right to be involved. Oh, wait…
Get off the fence, how do you really feel about it?
On a serious note, I don’t think this level is a decent representation of what the game itself looks like. They’re probably going for that look in it but it’s too cartoony for my liking.
Nuketown looks cartoonish because it’s meant to look like a “plastic fantastic” neighborhood from the 40/50s. However, I don’t see it as a feasible place for battles to go down in, which just adds to how out-of-place the map is. So far, I haven’t been terribly impressed by the maps that I’ve seen and I’m wondering just how bad this background noise is that WoodysGamerTag keeps mentioning.
@Anthony your “oh wait” comment is preceded by the weakest non-sarcastic statement. I hate that ppl on the net like you are so unoriginal and can’t even execute an intelligent comment properly.
