Well, I think I just got some really good news! Unless someone’s taking the piss, but I’m not saying anything until I get confirmation in a few days time! 🙂
Oh, ok.. Jacinta just checked, I won a trip for two to Chicago! We’ll be staying in the Fitzpatrick Chicago Hotel for 3 days bed and breakfast and I’m over the moon! Get back to earth.. take a deep breath, relax.. it’s no use, I’m smiling like the proverbial cheshire cat! 🙂

Slashdot picked up the story that Eircom and Esat will block calls to 13 countries. A desperate move perhaps, but more effective than trying to educate the public, at least in the short term.
I guess this could affect those builders^h^h^h^h^h^hpeople with off-shore accounts too. Bet the tribunals are rubbing their hands in glee!

I hate hearing media people/journalists/artists talking about media people/journalists/artists. *Yawn*

I’m a big fan of the Sunday Times – there’s just so much in there! Here’s a few snippets that’ll probably only be available for the next few days..

  I’m not suggesting that a soldier should be made to wade into battle looking like a Formula One racing driver, but there is a happy medium.
