An issue that every man has to think about, Razor blades, and how much it costs to replace them!
I recall a comedian commenting that the big razor companies spent years developing a secret new razor blade, one that would be revolutionary, and they did! They added a second blade! wow! Soon after they amazed us again, this time with a razor with 3 blades!
Now I think that blades don’t last as long, and with 3 blades in each razor-head they’re more expensive. *sigh*

Last weekend a young guy was attacked in Cork and is now in hospital fighting for his life. There’s been lots of talk on the radio and newspapers about how dangerous the streets are getting. It’s scary.

Woo, I’ve built a class that’ll allow me to call my PHP classes on remote servers. It’s something like XML-RPC but a lot simpler and only of use with my own code. It’s going to be handy for a number of projects I have coming up though!

There’s going to be a referendum on abortion here in Ireland in a few weeks time and the posters have already started to appear on lamp posts.
Unfortunately, they all seem to say the same thing:
“Vote for the lives of women and unborn children, vote YES!”
“Vote for the lives of women and unborn children, vote NO!”

It’s rather confusing. AFAIK, if the vote goes one way, the right for a woman to have an abortion will be put into the constitution, otherwise, women will have to go to the courts to get an abortion.
The taoiseach is refusing to debate the issue with other party leaders, and he appears to be running scared if comentators are to be believed! Fine Gael are pulling all the stops out on this, oh, and it happens to be an election year too! Fancy that eh?

The DVD player is amazing! Well, the speakers that came along with it add a lot to the atmosphere! It took a while to get DTS working (set the digital output to raw so the amp could interpret it) but the results were well worth the trouble. I even managed to get tv channels running through the speakers. It was really strange watching “The Weakest Link” in stereo..

It’s been a while since I had to install Apache with SSL support, but this article should help when I have to do it again.
