We must let the BIOS to AHCI active option.
For the Lenovo Z500 I have this version:
Intel (R) 7 Series Chipset Family SATA AHCI Controller

I replace “iastor” with “iaStorA”

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ iaStorA \ Parameters \ Port0]
“LPM” = dword: 00000000
“LPMDSTATE” = dword: 00000000
“DIPM” = dword: 00000000

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ iaStorA \ Parameters \ Port5]
“LPM” = dword: 00000000
“LPMDSTATE” = dword: 00000000
“DIPM” = dword: 00000000

To return to AHCI if you have a problem:

Start Regedit and look for this line:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Services \ storahci \ StartOverride

0 Change the DWORD value from 3 to 0.
