Update! (2009-10-28) 3 years later and the Do Not Delay website has been updated. Thanks to this comment for pointing it out. Their About the Project page gives a detailed account of what they do in Lithuania:
Six years ago, the Lithuanian rate of deaths caused by breast cancer was the highest in Europe.
DO NOT DELAY, a breast cancer awareness program, was initiated by Agnė Zuokienė in 2003. Today, the number of deaths is significantly lower.
The Do Not Delay team includes professional doctors – specialists of their field who face breast cancer cases on a daily basis.
The Pink Bus travels to the most remote locations in Lithuania to deliver the message to all women – “Take care of your health, pay more attention to yourselves for your own sake and for the sake of those who love you!”
It would appear from this that “Do Not Delay” are in fact a charity in Lithuania. They’re not registered as one in Ireland or the UK however. This report by the Fermanagh Herald covers some of the same concerns I have and I will repeat my advice below. You’re better off handing your clothes in to a local second hand shop. At least then you’ll be certain the proceeds from the sale of those items will go to registered charities in your locality.
The original post continues below:
It’s not unusual for junk mail to be delivered to my door. Thankfully there’s a lot less of it than the electronic equivalent. Over the summer a number of flyers made their way to my doorstep, supposedly from charities looking for old clothes to sell to raise funds. Unfortunately only one of those was from an actual charity and they collected the clothes at a local carpark.
The latest one is from donotdelay.org. I was going to let it pass but my neighbour had a bag out for collection this morning which prompted me to grab the laptop and show them this page on letterbox spam. That page points out that donotdelay.org redirects to nedelsk.lt, which asks for donations to be sent to this bank account in Vilnius, Lithuania.

There’s a phone number too, 0044-28-3084-9971, which is a UK number and not exactly encouraging for an Irish person.
How do you spot the fake charity flyers?
- It will have a contact number but it’s more than likely a mobile number. In Ireland, that’s an 085, 086, 087 number. A landline number means that they at least have a base or premises in the country.
- The flyer should have a registered charity number. A registered business number is not the same.
- Ring your local authority and ask if the “charity” is licensed to make door-to-door collections.
- Use the Google search engine to find out about them. Use any registration numbers you find, an identifying website address, even search for text from the flyer. Any charity with the resources to organise a door-to-door clothes collection will have at least some presence on the Internet.
If you do have old clothes to give away, pop them into a bag and bring them into one of the charity shops in your local town or city. They’re always looking for quality saleable items. Here’s a list of Irish charities if you want to donate money. Some well known and reputable charities include Trocaire (they even have an rss feed!), Bothair and Simon Community.
If you live in the UK, this page has some useful information including how to report a fake charity.
“Do Not Delay” collect money for breast cancer research but you would be better off making a donation to The Irish Cancer Society who will put your donation to good use.
I’ll update this post from time to time with thumbnails and summaries of flyers that hit my door. Check back often!
Just as I was wondering when donotdelay would collect their clothes I spotted an old blue van parked outside. It’s a Dublin reg vehicle and quite old, given that it’s a van and presumably used for business. The reg is “97 D 45516”. I spotted a man in denims walking down the road. He ducked into a house at a corner for a moment then walked up a hill out of sight. I waited a few minutes and he returned with a woman. Both got into the van, drove down to the end of the cul-de-sac and about 5 minutes later drove past again. On closer examination of the photos below I recognised the top of the heart shaped flyer they had in their hands. One was delivered here a few weeks back. I might have it arond here somewhere.
Update: Another blogger received the same flyer. Hopefully someone will search online for “Clothing Collection For Breast Cancer Prevention Programm”.
2006-11-21 – a new leaflet was dropped in the door a few minutes ago. It has an Irish mobile number, 0876815133, and reg. no. 382101. No sign of a charity number.
Not every family in developing countries can afford to buy new, often expensive clothes, footwear and household things.
If you search for their reg no. the first link is a pdf file (view as HTML) from Dublin City Council. Councillor Naoise O’Muiri asked, in a question to the City Manager, if he can
confirm that the following agencies currently engaged in collections in the City Area have all applied for and received Permits: …
“Unwanted Clothing Collection”, no Reg No given, 087 0552513
He replied:
The Collectors referred to by the Councillor do not have a waste collection permit from Dublin City Council.
Chances are they’re collecting ilegally in Cork too.
2006-11-29 – “Thank you for help” – another flyer appeared this morning before 8am, they’re out early! Identifying text includes the above badly constructed sentence and: “we urgently need clothing that you and your family may never wear again” and “Company Reg. Nr. 5655565A”, “Phone: +353851670878” – another mobile number. No landline, address or charity number.
2006-12-05 – “We support Orphanages.” just fell in the door. Here are their details: Reg. no. 9027839, phone 085-1337528. That’s a mobile phone number.
Update! I have set up a new site, Clothingcollection.org where I post details about all the fake charity leaflets I get. I’m sure you’ll recognise a few of them!
The Gangsters Intersecond Ltd aka donotdelay.org are back in Swords North Dublin today. Thanks for your useful information which sends warning signals to any googling Intersecond Ltd. You may not be aware that the local Irish police give these gangsters ‘free rein. Details of leaflet and bag were not even recorded when I reported them at the local garda station.
I don’t believe that anyone in authority takes these scams seriously – not even trading standards -certainly not the police nor even the Charity commission…
as an example we have even had one organisaztion with a registed charity that is supposed to be “under investigation” and has been for the last two years – no accounts submitted – nothing – and with a really obviously fraudulent purpose (ie to help everyone anywhere in the world etc etc). However this so-called charity remains on the Charity commission register gaining “credibility” from this official listing. The Charity Commission don’t even bother to reply to queries even though the queries are lodged via their official complaints system. These collection people have also been reported as stealing clothes left out for proper organisations and even taking milk money from doorsteps.
There is only one answer – takes clothes directly to charity shops when they are open to accept them.
these scumbags appear all over the british isles, i have informed the police and the local council over the last two years and nothing ever seems to be done about them.
i am going to contact my local MP regarding lacl of action by the authorities, this kind of action generally forces the police ect to take action because suddenly someone in high places starts kicking arses. might i suggest to everyone using this site to do the same
irrespective of country and maybe, just maybe something WILL be done
about these criminals.
I have just received a ‘donotdelay’ collection bag and decided to check it out!! Thank goodness I did as I would have put a load out for them. WHY DO THESE PEOPLE DO THIS? It’s immoral and takes away from the genuine charities… they are sad, sick in the head people!!
GREED,because they are too idle, amoral and stupid to get a real job and work for a living.
well as i have seen everyone puts loads in like you was about to wice would have been a really yousfull thing to do, really it is true dont you worry , why should people waist there time even doing this if it was fake i mean seriously
I got one in the letterbox this morning in Dundalk. It was pure chance I checked it out as I’d a bag ready for VdeP. Thanks for info.
Hi there.I was so glad to find your website today after I had reservations about a company calling themselves donotdelay.org. Sure enough their name appeared and the info was very useful. I phoned the local council and they are now looking into this companies operation within Lincolnshire. I raise money for charity and it makes me sick to the stomach to see fly by nights such as these exploit the sick and needy in such a low way.good on you for setting up this fantastic website 🙂
The people behind these are pure vermin. None of the authorities seem to be interested. The guards / TD’s / Government. At this stage of the game the only way to stop them would be a return to street justice and get a few burly lads to tie them up in the back of their own van and bring them off to a nice country lane and knock 7 shades of siucra out of them. Thats how strongly I feel about it.
I get so many of these through my door – you wouldn’t believe. I only decided to check this one out after 1 shoe (which was being left to dry out) went missing from my drive-way …. I saw that the day of collection for ‘Do Not Delay.org’ was that very same day the (very expensive) shoe went missing…..coincidence?!
It was nowhere near the street / my front door OR even in he bag they provided!!! But why one shoe?!
I am so angry – They are not only low life people that don’t bother getting a legitimate job like the rest of us hard working people, they are also THIEVES!!!!
Make sure you keep a note of their collection days, Don’t leave anything in site!
well esxuse me do you need to blame them it could of been a dog or somthing
I’m in Limerick. Just got a bright yellow sticker Export Clothes Collection Company Reg No. 292007. They are even looking for perfume, do they thing we are complete fools. Oh by the way the heading on the sticker is ” A real Christian indeed will share with those, who are in need”
I am assuming its a fake, at this stage I think all stickers that come are fake as none of the legitimate charities seem to send out flyer’s or bags any more.
I am in Shannon and have an identical sticker for collection on Wednesday.
We have an average of two a week of these and similar (probably the same crowd) using a variety of styles and colours.
I put out a bag loaded with old (only fit for a bonfire) cushions to test them. They collected them in the usual white van and drove off but they obviously have someone in the back checking the contents as the bag was returned to my doorstep a short time after ! !
i have today received a flyer from shc collections reg 06437255 asking for clothing and unwanted items. dont know much about the company but a google search is telling me its a scam.
my aunt lives in newry beside a family who is the manager of intersecond in newry city .he drives a new bmw just out of the show room while he is on family credit (even know he paid cash for the vechile.)he is from lithuaina taking hand outs from the mouth of local people while ripping of local charities and making a fortune and paying limited tax personally and by his boss in lithuania. pure black market tax man take note will report his name ,car reg,and address to the media when comfirmed ,soon.
You should report this scumbag to HMRC and DWP so they can start filming his movements and stop him claiming taxpayers money.
these people are collecting in portadown today i give them about 20 bags when they collected the bags they could not speak any english.i then looked up this website but it was to late ,wish i seen this site before i donated.mr bmw moneybags rot in hell, your time will come.you cant con the irish forever.
zoe if you can let us know the the details of mr bmw it would be very helpful, plz plz plz.
DID YOU WATCH THE PROGRAMME ON RTE ABOUT THIS GAME IT IS A JOKE THAT a COMPANY LIKE INTERSECOND CAN GET AWAY WITH SORT OF FAKE CHARITY CLAIMS> I THINK IF THE LEGAL SYSTEM CANT DO ANYTHING THEN THE COMMON PEOPLE SHOULD DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT>MR BMW MONEYBAGS YOUR LUCK WILL RUN OUT.
Such people have been on the go for about 5 years in South London. Last week was a new low – four leaflets in five days. Presumably they think people here wear clothes once then throw them away!
I used to be annoyed by my father, who refused to give to charities and smashed or tore apart anything even remotely capable of resale before putting it in the bin. Perhaps he had a point after all …
I live in Dublin 9. I currently have three different flyers all claiming to be legitimate charities. They all have a different name, but the same contact email address: clothescollection@gmail.com
1. Yellow Sticker with a small picture of Santa Claus on the top right corner
NAME: Clothing Collection
“We support Children’s cheltered housing. Organization number 195220531.”
Export Clothes Collection.
Company Reg. No. 292007
clothescollection@gmail.com
2. Purple/Pink Sticker with a large picture of a 2 yr old girl with dark hair
“…A real Christian indeed will share with those who are in need.”
“We support Children’s Foster home. Organization No. 195220531”
Export Clothes Collection.
Company Reg. No. 292007
clothescollection@gmail.com
3. Bright Pink sticker with a green cornered edge.
Name: Third World Clothing Collection
“Export Clothing Collection is a collection company who provides people
in third world countries with clothes for their families at a price they can
afford. It provides jobs in third world countries sorting the clothing for
distribution…”
Export Clothes Collection.
Company Reg. No. 292007
clothescollection@gmail.com
They all claim to support different causes. It’s so frustrating because I have two bags
of clothes, books and toys to donate but these all seem to be scams. I’m going to go
drop the bags directly to Mrs. Quin’s charity shop or the Mater Hospital charity shop,
both on Dorset Street.
I had the same sticker thrown through door 2 days agao and had a very expensive item taken from my door step -I hadn’t even put a bag out to be collected – I’ve sent an email to clothescollection@gmail.com but surprise surprise I didn’t get any response – This has been reported to the gardai.
hey lads just got one of those flyiers in wexford .company reg 2184994a mobile +353 0862278655 guess what they dont answer. blue stick on tag with shamrocks in black around sides.it says please help to make a better life for those who are in need. yah right. i will be delivering to the local charity shop at least we know were it goes. will be back in touch as soon as i contact local autorites.
“Do not delay” have today dropped plastic collection bags in Warwick for collection on Thursday. I was minded to fill it up as I am sure many will as it is post Christmas and many people would have had a clear out like myself. However, noting that the company Intersecond Ltd is itself not a charity and they are collecting for a charity in Lithuania it raised suspicions. I have come across your site and very pleased I did. In light of all the comments I have read, I will alert the local council but not sure if there is anything they can do about it.
Unbelievable – I have been getting these through the door for ages and in the beginning actually left some clothes out. I am so angry that these people are operating like this. I received a Second Hand Rose label today and did some research. The company has two directors, both Lithuanian with an address in Clonsilla. I think that the only way to stop these guys is to beat them at their own game.
I guarantee if you printed up a simple flyer – saying “DO NOT PUT OUT CLOTHES IN ANY BAGS HANDED THROUGH YOUR DOOR UNLESS THEY ARE A CHARITY YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH AND HAVE A CHARITY SHOP ADDRESS. This is a scam and nearly all of these bags are being delivered by Eastern European fraudsters, who are actually selling your clothes both here and abroad. None of these clothes are being donated to underprivileged children.”
and put this in every door in your neighbourhood, this would completely eradicate this criminal activity. No matter how many of these bags came in afterwards, I bet you noone would donate to them (unless they were a charity they were familiar with).
If everyone did this in their own area, I guarantee you this practice could be wiped out in nearly no time.
Thoughts anyone?
What a wonderful idea, if only it were true. However some people such as the elderly or frail, without transport, will find it easier to dump a bag at the front gate, rather than take it to the local charity shop.
I’ve just had this bag thing come through my letterbox. I got caught out once before and had other stuff nicked from my doorstep on the same day – coincidence?? I ignore them all now but for a laugh I thought I’d check this one. It’s travelled to just outside Stratford upon Avon in Warwickshire. “Do not delay” it says for breast cancer. Haven’t decided if I’m going to send it to the council or trading standards but it’s going to one of them.
Now they are going around Cambridge. A ‘Do Not Delay’ bag just posted through my door complete with pink ribbon logo. Was suspicious of no UK registered charity number printed on the bag so Googled them. Thanks for posting this and making the situation clear, I will only donate directly to charity shops.
please dont do it directly to the charity shopsall they will do is throw it out if its no use and if you do it to do not delay it is safe it goes directly to the ones who need it whice the do not delay bags please listen and read what i have wrote it will help you

sounds dodgy to me.
Hi all, I came across this site whilst entering a search for authentic registered Irish charities. I felt compelled to write with the following.Im based in Co.Meath and every single week, sometimes daily, I receive stickers through the door soliciting clothes etc for charities, despite having a clear sign on my leterbox stating “Post Only,no flyiers”. We left a bag of clothes out once or twice and noticed it was the same person collecting despite the flyiers supposedly being from different charities. We stopped donating shortly afterwards. The following are the most recent list of stickers/leaflets Ive received:
1. CLOTHING COLLECTION (Export Clothes Collection Reg no.292007. Clothescollection@gmail.com. Organization no.195220531. “We support childrens sheltered housing”)
2. CLOTHES COLLECTION (Export Clothes Collection Reg no. 292007.) This time they’ve changed from charity to sporting a recycling logo instead of citing charity and the sticker has been laid out differently. Same company as no.1 above.
3. UKRAINIAN APPEAL (C-Y Reg No.391493 (R.o.I) SC 309637. second-life@mail.org.”Help us to provide aid and affordable clothing for a sustainable future”)
4. CLOTHING COLLECTION (All clothing Reg No.4922754G, Tel No.085 1097153. “Your unwanted used clothes could really be benefit to someone. All clothing is a collection firm who prowide people in Eastern Countries with clothes for their families they can afford we provide business for transport companies. We provide.”)
5. THIRD WORLD CLOTHING COLLECTION (Export Clothes Collection Reg No.292007. ) This is the same reg no as Nos. 1+2 above.
6. EXPORT CLOTHES COLLECTION (Reg No. 292007. “We support Childrens foster home.Organisation No.195220531. A real Christian indeed will share with those who are in need.”)Same reg as above.
7. BELARUSSIAN CHERNOBYL CHILDRENS CHARITY (Charity Ref No. XR36584. Ph 01 45878948 or 028 90 826075. “BCCC is a voluntary HANDS ON CHARITY which work includes an Annual Childresn Recuperative Holiday Programme as well as sending humanitarian aid to the village of Babunishi”.)
8. BELARUSSIAN CHERNOBYL CHILDRENS CHARITY & JSD LIMITED (JSD Contact No. 028 90826075. JSD (NI) Ltd. ROI 045 878948. Charity Ref No.XR36584. “Door to door collection appeal on behalf of Belarussian Chernobyl Childrens Charity”.) This sticker had a recycling logo in addition to the charities logo. Apparently JSD are based in Co.Down and recycle old clothing.
9. AFRICAN CHILDREN IN NEED (Ph 0851 700 057. “We urgently need your help to support children. Please help to save a life today”.) This sticker had no reg charity no at all.
10. AFRICAN CLOTHING PROGRAMME FOR PROJECT AFRICA (Tel 0145878948. “Project AFRICA is at the moment working in Rwanda and depends on charitable donations from householders like yourself. We wish to ease the burdon of life for people of undeveloped countries of Africa. our longterm objectives include setting up SELF HELP stations to educate the people of Africa in farming and self trading.”
11. CANCER CURE-CONTROL-CARE (“All clothing donated will be sent to undeveloped countries.”) No other info on the leaflet.
And thats it so far. Im guessing most of the above are not charities at all or that they even help with any of the crap written on their stickers.
Hi
Can you confirm I’m still a little lost. I received a plastic bag from the do not delay crowd. I left clothes out for these before as I visited their website. I emailed them this time as there wasnt a collection on fri as it said. A red van has just been and i questioned the man in it . I asked to see his leaflets and he brought out 3 different stickers including a do not delay STICKER whereas i got the bag. Is this crown FAKE.
Thanks
ok ok ive just read more and i now know its a scam
How much it it costing these people to have the bags printed up and stuff. Must be big money being made.
I’ve been receiving these flyers about once a week. the latest once cites Transform Africa as the charity (I think the charity is legitimate) and company making it seem like they are also a charity http://www.newsilvertex.com (New Silvertex) lists a mobile phone number of 075 299 384 77
“all donated items are re-used or re-cycled to raise money for poor people in Sierra Leon, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe and other deprived areas of Africa. Thanks…from Transform Africa in conjuction with New Silvertex”
the clothing company, however, has a proper looking website with photos (most of the other clothing scammers have just a non-working mobile phone number
Hi people i was working in one these factories and i now that this clothes is going tru to afrika, poland and many others countries. This (businessman’s) is making many many many money.Example Mr Henry Alinta from northern ireland make couple milions pounds…People what do you think about it?
hi guys. my family was woke up at 6.30am today by a loud noise outside. when my dad went downstairs, he saw a ‘so called’ charity flyer that is a sticker, with the name ”clothing collection”, saying that they urgently need clothing etc. it says that they support childrens cheltered housing. (cheltered is spelt like this on the flyer, i think it must mean sheltered to those fluent in english)
it has also got a organisation number; 195220531, a reg no;292007, and a email clothescollection@gmail.com. the flyer is yellow with red and black writing.
I live on the rathfriland road in newry, northern ireland.
I am glad I found this website cause obviously this scam is in my area now. the spelling mistake prompted me to google this flyer then I came accross this website. the fact that the flyers were put out so early in the morning makes me suspicious, plus the fact it was still a bit dark at that time.
I will not be leaving anything out for these tramps.
I will support my local cahrities as i always do, eg local hospice and st vincent de paul, as you can see a difference.
Re: coltette’s post from 2008. The same scamsters are at it again in Dublin under a different name but same details: reg.no: 385362 mobile no: 0851204935
I just got a sticker through the door this morning for Irish Christianity programme Africa appeal.. Same reg and mobile number you quoted. I get about 2 a week and ignore them all. They are always put through the letterbox between 5 and 6 am.. Utter thieves.
had their stickers stuck to my door last week and destroyed it now needs repainting. I dont know how they are getting away with this but if they come near my property again Im taking action.
Tallaght today 6 oct 2009 yellow sticker oval world logo says CLOTHINIG COLLECTION.
ORGAINZATION NUMBER : 195220531

I am sick of all these people putting this stuff in my letter box.
I even have a note on the door NO JUNK MAIL.
I’m a journalist in Belfast tracking one of these outlets and I’d like to hear from anyone with direct info about the Tallaght-based outlet and it’s Newry subsidiaries, calling themselves Euro-African Textiles Recycling Ltd and Aligreen Recyling.
Any tips on this outfit around the border will be gratefully appreciated.
As a pointer for yourself, Donncha, I would point out that while the outlet with the UK number is technically a UK line, it is a bit inconsiderate to say ‘which is a UK number and not exactly encouraging for an Irish person.’
To paraphrase Mr Heaney, my passport’s green. (Well, Euro-purple, but you get my point). Good, good blog tho. I’m grateful for the info available above and will treat any info given to me in total confidence. I have been threatened by one of the operators already so I know it’s a big business, with serious bottom lines. People will perhaps be surprised at the profits these chisellers are making.
True, true. I should have said, “anyone normally resident in the Republic of Ireland” I guess! 😉
I live in England and get these “Do Not Delay” bags, amongst various others, through my door all the time.
I realised long ago they are not a real charity because they don’t display a registered charity number. However, on the bag I received this morning they claim they donate £3k a month to a Lithuanian charity, which is most likely a lie.
Nope, that`s not a lie. Just check in http://www.donotdelay.org, there You can find all the information You need to know. Well, I had some doubts too but now I don`t. It`s really cooperating with a Lithuanian charity organisation.
Hi Kae, Hmmm, if you google for clothescollection@gmail.com email address, its some how connected to DO NOT DELAY again… Well clothingcollection in my opinion the same think as DO NOT DELAY. Best solution to check if the collection is genuine, to contact local council who is responsible for door to door collection licensing. If not licensed, call council or police.
insider – I don’t think they’re connected. “Do not delay” appear to be a legitimate charity in Lithuania but I still recommend giving to registered charities in your own country rather than one that isn’t.
It is a misconception that most of the clothes collections are done by charities. Many of them “subcontract” to commercial organisations. The infrastructure required to produce the bags, distribute them, collect the filled bags and then dispose of the contents is simply not within the remit of desire of most charities. There is nothing wrong with companies such as Intersecond acting on behalf of charities and not having a chritable number themselves, so long as they are properly licenced and regulated. What is far more remarkable is when a charity DOES actually perfom these functions themselves. Many of he reputable companies specify on the bags what proportion of the proceeds is donated to charity. Intersecond do also act for atleast one British charity. Unfortunatey, being foreign and a company, they do get discriminated against. It is hard to differentiate between legitimate collection organisations and crooks but in the main, companies which seek licences from Councils – even if they are refused by some Councils, also open their doors to Trading Standards and a regimen of other Government bodies who watch and regulate anyone raising money in the name of charities and are trying very hard to do the right thing, are bona fides. I flew to Belfast to meet Intersecond to do business with them. Do Not Delay said no to my proposal and the British charity said yes. I think that Do Not Delay were sceptical……..
Scum bags
I received a pink breast cancer through my door on Monday. I went through my kids wardrobe and put really expensive clothing (practically new which they had grown out of) in the bag thinking they were genuine. How stupid are these idiots who actually put contact details of your site on the envelope. When I read this page, I went straight out the door and brought the bag in and seen my neighbour had the pink bag out also and told her they were scams. I also rang a few friends to warn them. We have an awful lot of families in Ireland who cannot afford new clothes etc. When the other bags come through the door, I always ring the telephone number to see if they are genuine and the number is always engaged or not answered. I don’t even trust the local charity shops in the area which i won’t name!!! I brought a bag to the local charity shop and watched the staff put the cheapest clothes on hangers but did’nt put the really good clothes on display. I’m keeping any charity clothes now and then pass them on to friends to keep for their kids when they are older. I don’t trust any of them. Scum, most of them (except SVP and Bernados). Lucan.Co. Dublin
These “Do not Delay” vans has a base in a storage company in Bourton-on-Dunsmore near Rugby. I’ve seen van load of collected cloth bags being off loaded from vans and transferred to full size 40Ft lorries with European Registrations on. All staffs are Eastern European.
Hi,
Does anyone have a contact number for this so called company “Export Clothes Collection, co.reg no.292007” As we are sick of been woke up as EARLY AS 4am!!! Its getting to be a little bit too much now. Its bad enough, that its all a scam and then to be woken at crazy hours of the morning with a days work ahead of you. It would be much appreciated if anyone has a contact number.
Dublin
These scumbags leave 3 flyers a week in balbriggan, they deliver them at 5:30am the day before the ”collection”
Reg no 9027839. Ph – 0862404225
I don’t understand why is there such a fuss if someone is collecting charity for Lithuania and not for UK or Ireland there? “Do not delay” is 4th best known project in Lithuania. It has done outstanding things and really well known people are responsible for it. And in fact they do receive money from Intersecond. Try googling lithuanian version of this project “Nedelsk” and you’ll what it is. And just because you don’t feel like giving clothes or money for foreign org. so don’t, but there’s no need confusing others…
Got this flyer though my door today – glad I checked it out now – had a feeling it was a bit dodgey! Thanks for the tip-off guys!! I live in Buncrana, Co. Donegal – these people are obviously at this for quite a while….

We got two flyers in the door, they say “Clothing collection”. It says it is for third world countries, but there is no charity number. Only company registration number and a mobile number. There is a picture of a clown on one, and birds on the other. Does not seem like a proper charity…
Currently receiving a flyer ” Irish Clothing Collection Appeal” every other day in west Dublin apparently they are not even Irish but organised criminals from Eastern Europe. What are the Guards doing? yeah you guessed right nothing sure isn’t Ireland the home for organised crime nowadays. Only way to stop these people is to stop giving they’ll soon give up if they don’t collect anything.

hi i recieved a sticker for a bag toady just called clothing collection , at 5.30am i was asleep then heard the dogs barking and footsteps outside, i live in the country and let me tell you it gave me quite a fright, on their flyer it says all vans are clearly marked and all collectors wear identification, the van was not marked and the man leaving the leaflet scampered when i turned on the outside lights, this should not be allowed, they were up to no good at that hour of the morning.
Hi Donncha – clothingcollection.org is rendering as a blank page.
Whoever’s behind this is still up to it. I got a flyer here with the email address clothescollection@gmail.com which claimed to be for a company “Exported” with the apparent company reg number 370351 (which actually belongs to a Kerry company named Cois Uisce Management.
With a little more looking, I found they’re advertising on a Lithuanian jobs website: http://darbas-uzsienyje.com/index.php?option=com_tpjobs&task=detailcomp&id=2145&Itemid=150&lang=en
That gives us the mobile number +353857303030 but it also gives us a fax number, +353469091235
They are collecting in Over, Cambs, tomorrow. Probably in surrounding villages such as Longstanton, Willingham, Swavesey too.
I got an orange sticker in the door this morning from another company called Ukrainian, Belarusian Clothing collection Although its not the same registration numbers as listed above its IE6464590R. There is an email on it called developingworldclothing@gmail.com. If it was a charity that I could help I would but what got me suspicious was it was delivered to my house at 4.35am this morning. It actually woke me up from sleeping, and when I peered out the window there was no van or person in identification clothing as mentioned on the leaflet. I am concerned that they are delivering at that hour of the night
I live in Gorey Wexford and every 2nd day Im getting these ‘charity’ flyers and plastic bags and Im sick of it….I have asked them personally not to post anything in my letterbox, I have posted a ‘no junkmail’ sign, and my partner has waited for them (they always arrive b4 7am) and ‘had words!)…all to no avail…they just ignore us!! My answer is now going to be, leave a note outside thanking them for the ‘free’ rubbish bag as it saves me buying them and on the leaflets I will write that they have been reported to the local council and Gardai!…hope this works… but there are new ones popping up all the time…Thank God for this site so we can tell the difference between bogus and genuine charities!… Dee
try photographing them? they may be frightened enough into not visiting your house again.
