We needed to find out how to define templates in OOo as we’re going to produce some PDF documents (courtesy of the very handy “Save As PDF” option!) from OO Writer. TBH I’m mostly clueless when it comes to this sort of thing but this site looks like it has the answers to our questions!

I know using the built in filter is handier, but if you’re stuck, IIRC you can print to a PS File, and then use ps2pdf?
