Trees In The Mist
It’s been foggy all day, something that’s quite unusual. Usually, the sun would burn away any fog by midday but it’s lingered on today for some reason.
I went down to the Gun Powder Mills this morning and took this photo. Originally, it didn’t look very special but when I hit the Levels->Auto button in The GIMP this is what happened! I’m really pleased with the result as it’s abstract and looks kinda like a painting. I wish I could claim that I spent hours manipulating the photo but I didn’t. I only cropped it a bit and darkened the water slightly. Have a look, I think you’ll like it!

Principal.com – Cookies – for several years I thought session cookies only expired when the user closed their browser. It also seems that session cookies expire after the session is left idle for some length of time which is reasonable. That explains why I keep seeing “welcome back” login messages on a site at work..
