All the best equipment in the world won’t help if you can’t see a good photo in a scene. I’m still amazed sometimes when I see what are lacklustre scenes in reality when they’re displayed on my monitor!

My friend Niamh’s sister got a puppy a few weeks ago. Here he is, Snoopy, the cute little thing! Really hard to get a good shot of a fast moving, almost non-stop creature. Thankfully he stopped to chew on an autumn leaf !

I think, for most people digital photography is here, today. I certainly haven’t thought about bringing a film camera on holiday in years!
