If you have Ideal or Ultimate broadband with Vodafone Ireland and an Xbox 360 you can get a year of Xbox Live Gold membership for free.
Login to the Vodafone website, go to Living at Home and then add ons. You’ll find the form there offering free XBL Gold for a year! Handy as my Gold subscription ran out recently. (via boards.ie)
And if you don’t have either of those particular broadband bundles (guess who doesn’t), you can still get a year’s membership for €35 (usual price €60) on the same page.
