WordPress 1.5 is out. WPMU release to follow

WordPress 1.5 is available now from the download page!
If you’re using the last snapshot of WordPress MU then you’re using a very similar version, but I’ll have another snapshot out soon with the official 1.5 code!
Congrats to the WP developers who put so much effort into this release!

  1. Fantastic, looking forward to the new WPMU.. cheers Donncha!

p.s. You mentioned a bit back that you had knocked together an extra 10 themes for WPMU but I could never find the download… would it still work if you have it available?

    Cheers, James

  2. Hi,

    This is a great work.

but the (wpmu-2005-01-12.zip) installer doesnt work for me.. Can’t get it to get past the second step install screen.

WordPress database error: [You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '-inst_categories ( cat_ID int(4) NOT NULL auto_increment, cat_name varchar(5' at line 1]
    CREATE TABLE wp_wp-inst_categories ( cat_ID int(4) NOT NULL auto_increment, cat_name varchar(55) NOT NULL default '', category_nicename varchar(200) NOT NULL default '', category_description text NOT NULL, category_parent int(4) NOT NULL default '0', PRIMARY KEY (cat_ID), UNIQUE KEY cat_name (cat_name), KEY category_nicename (category_nicename) )

WordPress database error: [Table 'wordpress2.wp_wp-inst_options' doesn't exist]
SELECT option_name, COUNT(option_name) AS dupes FROM `wp_wp-inst_options` GROUP BY option_name

    am I missing something? Ideas?

The wpmu sounds great… just wish it would work for me.

…looking forward to the next update..
