The Digital Journalist August 2004 Issue
The August 2004 Issue of The Digital Journalist is now out and from a quick scan looks as good as previous offerings, including The Death of a Famous Unknown, an article about Henri Cartier-Bresson. No wonder I didn’t know about him :-
One of Henri Cartier-Bresson’s favorite quotations was from the French painter Degas, who declared that it was “wonderful to be famous as long as you remain unknown.”
Restoring Old Photographs

I have a few old photos I’d like to try restoring, this might get me motivated to do so!
Zak's watching out for Zara
I took this a few weeks ago. Both cats had been asleep and were miaowing for food and attention! Next thing I knew, Zara was rubbing against my leg, and Zak had stretched out on the corridor floor lazily watching his sister play.

Vex, where are you?
Several years ago any resident of Blackrock would recognise this tag. It was plastered all over the area, on every lamp-post, many walls and practically every smooth surface. I spotted this one near Blackrock Castle while Jacinta and I cycled past. It was at the bottom of a metal door almost completely hidden by bushes!
