NyxQuest looks like a fun platformer and the PC/Mac version can be bought for only $1.99 on their website, but only for this week.

I haven’t played it yet but at that price it’s a no-brainer and I’m looking forward to trying it later, especially after seeing the positive reaction to the Nintendo Wii version on Metacritic.

Hannibal House
The story of a Seattle man who visits Wales, and decides to buy a house there. Great characters, and and a good read!

Protector
An odd and weird science fiction story by Larry Niven. Did not see that ending coming!

Batman: Knightfall
One of my favourite Batman stories, and the story the last Nolan film took inspiration from. Only bettered by the superb Batman: Son of the Demon.

The Golden Compass
First of a three part fantasy/sci-fi series. Some people hate it because of it's anti God message but it's a great read. I found it hard to put down. There's even a Snopes article about the film adaptation.
