What’s out there? Halloween.com is the first result on a Google search. Bet their traffic peaks at this time of year!
Following closely in 7th place are the infamous Halloween documents! I wonder what parents will make of that when they go searching for ideas for their kid’s parties? Linux? Some new fangled penguin costume?

Bring Back Bosco!
If you’re not Irish you probably don’t know about Bosco, but if you grew up in the 80’s he’ll be instantly familiar. The Bosco Files has been around for a while but now, here’s a petition to bring back Bosco!
Maybe now they can answer why bosco has red cheeks, and will Frank be back to do a comedy intro?

Later.. The Bosco DVD is out! As is the Wanderly Wagon one! Here’s a picture of them in HMV, Cork a week ago. Did I buy? Err, no.

Buying Furniture?
So, have you had the joyful experience of buying furniture? Then you have the grinding and frustrating wait for it to be delivered? Youu and me both! Looks like Dilbert has had the same experience.

SadOldTosser – How many potatos?
So, the Sad Old Tosser Matt held an exciting competition recently to find out who has the most types of potato at one sitting!
Well, I could hardly contain myself, so imagine my delight when I found out I came second! YYyeeeeeesssss!
I congratulate Alyssa for coming first. It’s a great achievement eating a potato omelette and hash browns!
Oh Yeah, There's 8 More Reasons to Hate Cats
Tom was kind enough to mail me telling me that there are now 8 more reasons to hate cats! This neatly follows up on his previous reasons!
Sorry Tom, I love cats, although I do worry about what a cat would do to my new 3 piece suite with those claws!
Tom has plenty more great cartoons so go visit his site! Love his phishing one!
On the subject of hell..
James Jeff reprinted a short essay he found while cleaning out his drive: Is Hell exothermic (gives off heat) or endothermic (absorbs heat)?
Of course it’s been doing the rounds for a while but this is my first time reading it and made me smile! 🙂
Santa compensated after jets scare Rudolph to death
I’m glad Santa was compensated but what does this mean for kids around the world on Christmas Day?
Will Prancer or Dancer take up the mantle of head deer now?

First Confession
Frank O’Connor was a Cork born author who lived from 1903 to 1966. He really deserves a lot more recognition for his work and many compare him to Joyce and Yeats.
A recent short story award in his honour awarded 50,000 Euro to the winner!
I would hazard a guess that his most famous story is First Confession, and is a great read!
