I bought Sonic Advance on Saturday. It’s not bad, well, it’s Sonic, exactly like the old versions. Graphics are amazing, sound is good, I haven’t played it much yet though, (as ever, I always get up to something else..)
I played Pitfall while waiting for Martina in a shop, it was strange hearing the chirping atmospheric sounds in that scene, and I’m sure I got some bewildered looks from some customers *grin*
Oh yeah, the only light for the GBA which works well is one I bought in a shop in Barcelona. It saps battery but it’s well worth the money. Those ones on stretchy wire aren’t much good IMO. 🙁
Wow! Big screen debut for Scooby Doo – The Scooby Doo character has been digitally created using CGI. This could be a lot of fun!
I watched Muppets Treasure Island on Saturday evening. Nice, entertaining stuff!
St Patrick’s Day is over for another year. I was out on Saturday night, in Isaac Belle’s drinking down European beer like nobody’s business! Lovely stuff, much nicer than the mainstream American beers. We went to Coco’s which used to be Gorby’s – ah! the memories! Thankfully, the audience was a lot older than it used to be and I didn’t recognise anyone from the last time I frequented that club.
St. Patrick’s Day was Sunday, got up late, missed the parade, went to pub again. I was driving later so I was on Coke for the day. Couldn’t drink anyway after the previous night!
Hey Mel & Sharon – thanks for the tea last night!
I visited VCD Helper on Saturday as I wanted to know how to create a SVCD of Roisin’s Christening. Came out well using TMPGenc 🙂
Robinson to step down from UN post – The United States is thought to have opposed any extension of her mandate after she questioned the American bombing campaign in Afghanistan and criticised the treatment of Taliban and al-Qaeda prisoners.
Six to change their name before they hit the UK.
I have to try this: Blogging through Mozilla Composer!
The 101 Dumbest Moments in Business – I’m sure you’ve seen it linked elsewhere but I thought it was so funny..
James comes up with the goods again – George W. Bush but as you’ve never seen him before!
Ireland may get DSL by May – I’m not going to hold my breath though. Thanks Brian.
