I just watched Dog Day Afternoon. Yes, I admit it, the only reason I actually bought the DVD was because it was mentioned in Swordfish (and because it was in the bargan basement section!) but it’s a good film. It’s amazing how the back robbery goes so terribly wrong and it’s worth renting if you see it in a video shop!

Linux: Andrew Morton on 2.5’s performance improvements – looks promising!

IPPORTFW, IPMASQADM, IPAUTOFW, REDIR, UDPRED, and other Port Forwarding tools – you wouldn’t believe the hoops required to get IP forwarding going on an IPCHAINS machine. The original site for the forwarding tool is gone, and I only found a mirror because it was listed on the IPMasq site, not in the HOWTO, from what I read anyway..

Conradh na Gaeilge – an Ceann-Áras – I can’t believe it! I’ve been spammed by CnaG! I didn’t even read the email as it went straight to my spam folder where html mails aren’t interpreted as such, but it did have a 200K Word doc attached.
What’s the big deal? CnaG are an organisation with the task of keeping the Irish language alive and encouraging it’s use. “One of the good guys”.
I’m even more shocked at this spam than the one I got off Concern as I knew Concern mail their donors all the time. (Of course, I never gave my email address to Concern!) *sigh*
