My 1.2 GHZ PIII Commodore SX-64 – on the day I threw out 2 C64s. *sob* I still have the 1541 drive so I’ll be moving my collection of 300 5 1/4 floppies onto the PC in the next few weeks and there on to several backup CDs.
Oh yeah, I remember seeing the SX64 in a computer shop here in Cork a few years ago. It is HUGE! I also had reviews of it from way back in the 80s and they weren’t impressed by it’s portability either then.

The Case Against Professionalism – Cringely writes a thoughtful piece on the role of management in companies. What’s more important? Short term gain, or long term failure?
The thing that came to mind as I read this article, is that Red Hat’s founder isn’t there any more. That would worry me, except I’ve talked to Red Hat employees, they all know how important the GPL is to the company.
Then again, those I’ve talked to have met Rob Young personally. What about new hires?
