Mizen Head

Pictured last Sunday afternoon. The day started out cloudy and wet but thankfully cleared up later. We met a New Yorker who does the tours and two Poles who clambered like goats all over the hills with their cameras!

  1. i like the way the photo has been divided – top half sky, lower half equally split between sea and land (in a “yin and yang” type composition).

  2. Thanks for the comments guys – I had to use a layer mask to bring out the detail in the landscape – I exposed for the sky and the shadow blew all the detail in the bottom half of the picture!

  3. That’s an incredible picture. Another place for me to go “next time” I’m in Ireland. (now let’s see that’s Aerlingus.com…)
