Benchmarking dbx, preliminary results – it’s slightly faster than ADOdb if you configure it in a certain way. I wonder should we look at another db layer at work, we’re using the phplib wrapper but maybe it’s time to rethink that. Then again, there’s lots of legacy code built on top of that library.
