The Linux Number Plate

Thanks Mark for pointing me to this eBay auction for the license plate, L1NUX. Current bid is £5,100 and the reserve hasn’t been met yet. I wonder will Alan Cox bid? There are a few days left so take your time and empty out that piggy bank.

  1. Bit expensive for a number plate / registration / whatever. In the U.S., this would cost the price of a number plate print. But, alas, none are an option in Éire.

  2. 14 hours left and the price is still £6100. Come on surely LINUX is worth more than that! /me wishes I was getting commission on this sale 😉
