  1. It *is* quite beautiful, with the variations in the acreage as you go to the horizon. Have you ever done shots at Ardmore? I remember it being beautiful and a bit sleepy at the same time, though that was 16 years ago — wonderful ruins and a round tower…

  2. No, I don’t think I’ve been to Ardmore yet, although the ruins pictured here look very familiar so maybe I visited in the distant past!
    Thanks for your comment, I drove past a lay-by, spotted that scene and had to reverse back up the road to park!
    Much cloudier today unfortunately but I might still get out for a drive.

    There’s also a great potter there named Mary Lincoln; we bought a beautiful teapot of hers.
