The GIMP is annoying me right now. I’m editing a 1600×1200 image, 3 layers, modifications on each layer, and it’s taking ages to perform simple operations such as “blur” or “magic wand”. I do have the undo-level set at 10, but my machine has plenty of RAM. Grrr.

This morning I captured the sun rising from near Iniscarra.

A digital workflow for web viewing – based on Photoshop, but it should be usable under the GIMP too. I’ve only read a few of his points and I already see something that everyone else disagrees with. You should “unsharp” at the end, not at the start. Hmm, he also has a wiki with lots of photography links. goody!
