could somebody please send me an email possibly telling me where most americans live in Ireland?? My wife and I are planning to move there shortly, and would, but do not require! like to live near other americans. Thank you.

My husand and I are also moving to Ireland. We have spent a lot of time over there looking around and have found Ennis in County Clare to be an all around good place to live as well as having quite a few Americans. We had thought we would end up in West Cork but after having spent some time there we felt it would just be too much culture shock. Ennis has a cinema, large grocery stores and good shopping in general as well as being a lovely old town with cobble stone winding streets. As far as we are concerned it is the best of Ireland without being too backwater.
