Something Odd!

Some friends are moving into new houses. Here’s some tips (Thanks James, Brian and Claire!)

• Don’t take the keys off them the builder until you’ve looked over the house. Don’t give them the final payment until same.
• Check for leaks – pour water on the windows (use a hose).
• Bring a radio and check all the sockets.
• Check floorboards and joists.
• Pour several buckets of water down the driveway to make sure the water flows the right way (should be towards the drain)
