Organic Lawn Care For the Cheap and Lazy – mow high? Great!
Now that we’re coming into Summer again this will be something I look over from time to time. (Pity he doesn’t mention the effects birds and animals have on the grass!)
Later .. oh yes he does: This is where birds are your friends. Birds think grubs are yummy.
I’m conscious of looking after my lawn all the time, especially when fertilizing it. Organic lawn care should be for everyone, especially the rich and active. It’s the rich people who have the largest lawns and the active that look after it the most.
Using organic products is not only better for your lawn and your health but also for the birds, animals and even insects. You may scoff at that, but they are all essential to the ecosystem we all live in.
There are so many toxic chemicals in our lives, we don’t even pay attention or even care who or what it harms. Well, in short, it harms the entire planet.
Not convinced? What do you think may happen if you don’t use organic products on your lawn? Would you walk on your lawn in bare feet? Better still, would you let your young child walk and play on your lawn?
I’m not sure the headline fits the article…
Cheap? ($200 for soil, professional ph testing)
Easy? (re-seeding your lawn, tackling individual dog marks)
Organic yes…cheap and easy no.
