The Offical God FAQ is neither scientifically nor logically accurate. Science cannot prove that something does not exist. Logically it is not accurate for if you say there is no God, then that means you know absolutely everything which then makes you God.
A true scientist, if he is to be honest, can not answer that question with a “no.” He may answer it by saying he is unable to determine the existence of God – but never can he make a definitive negative answer.
^ You are stupid. Thank you.
PS There is no God. I know.
Neither can science prove there are no unicorns or dragons. However, it’s entirely reasonable for the scientific community to assume that there aren’t any. At least, no experiment has ever produced unexpected results due to the interference of unicorns. Until I’m proven wrong, I will continue to deny the existence of everything I have no compelling reason to believe in.
Here is a more scientifically and philosophically accurate version http://www.happyspaceinvader.com/godfaq/. In fact it becomes increasingly philosphically and scientifically accurate, the more times you vist the page (hint: click refresh).
