An Obsession with Food

When I first started this blog, it was because I had just been laid off, and wanted my savings to last as long as possible. So I undertook this project, trying to stretch leftovers in creative new ways. Just reheating was a cop-out. But now I’m re-employed, so it’ll have to be a bit different. Going to war without the United Nations – it’s strange, when people whose blogs I read and like, post articles I find offensive and utterly disagreeable. The first comment on this article says it better than I can. I do think the United States will go to war, American planes will carpet bomb Bagdad, a few brave American/British/Australian soldiers will die but soldiers from the member states of the UN will be sent in afterwards on peace keeping missions risking their lives patrolling streets full of vengfull Arabs.
