It’s bothered me that the pre-order page on the EA store only allows pre orders of the PC version. What about us poor (literally, you’ll need a reasonably high end machine to run the PC version) console players running 5 year old technology?
Well, worry no more. I found the game on Amazon and it’s available to pre order on Xbox 360 and PS3 and includes this delightful chunk of text in the description:
Limited Edition Content
Battlefield 3 – Limited Edition features the digital expansion pack Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand at no extra charge. This themed multiplayer expansion pack includes four legendary maps from Battlefield 2 boldly re-imagined with Frostbite 2 physics, destruction and visuals. Completing the package are classic Battlefield 2 weapons and vehicles, unique rewards, new achievements/trophies, and more.
So, now all I have to worry about is for which platform do I get it first? Xbox or PS3?
I’ve the exact same problem here, what platform to buy on first? lol Love the PS3 controls, most friends are on PS3 but Xbox 360 has that sound when an achievement is unlocked (yeah I know, sad).
I’m actually waiting to see what else they are going to offer before I preorder it. That and I feel weird about giving a company my money this early
Xbox!
I have exactly same problem. I have more friends on xbox but PS3 version may look better.
Gavin, It’s not sad – I love that sound too – it calms You down.
Xbox!
I pre-ordered the PS3 version from GameStop last week.
ps3, can’t go wrong, if its up.
